Job Title: Welding and NDT Engineer
Location: Kothrud, Pune & Vadodara, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–5 Years (Freshers with relevant certifications may also apply)

Job summary

We are looking for a skilled Welding and NDT Engineer to join our growing team at Tecknowcon Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing welding activities, conducting non-destructive testing (NDT), ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the highest levels of quality assurance and control across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), WPQR, and welder qualifications as per international standards (ASME, ISO, EN, etc.)
Perform and supervise NDT methods including UT, RT, MT, PT, and VT
Interpret NDT results and prepare detailed inspection and testing reports

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ISO 3834, EN 1090, EN 15085, ASME)

Conduct audits and quality checks at vendor and site locations

Support training and qualification of welders and NDT personnel

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering

Knowledge of welding standards and procedures (IWE/IWT preferred)

Hands-on experience with welding inspections and NDT techniques

Good understanding of QA/QC protocols

Strong analytical and report-writing skills

Willingness to travel for field/site inspections
